Grenada 3' x 5' Foot Flag

Grenada’s flag was designed by Anthony C. George and adopted in 1974 upon independence from the United Kingdom. The flag uses Pan-African colors to signify Grenada’s African national identity. Red signifies courage and vitality, yellow symbolizes wisdom and warmth, and green represents vegetation and agriculture. The 6 stars in the border represent Grenada’s 6 parishes, while the center star represents its capital. A nutmeg clove, a principle crop of Grenada, is featured on the left and connects Grenada to its former name, “The Isle of Spice.”
